Quite a bit of theories can be spun, but i feel just simply being "Amalia is actually an alien and a shapeshifting one" would be far too simple and its not my favouring theory for sure. Personally im hoping its not teh Alien route, it would be a bit too simple and i see a lot of people getting on the " but this isn't my true face " when Amalia was talking to the beggar king, but that doesnt mean the future nations of Earth didn't finally meat Aliens and are part of the same military force now and those aliens visited Earth before and told the world when and how and with invention of time traveling something didn't happen. I hear some theories about her being a shapeshifter or some type of alien that came with the ship, which is possibly also true, the "wearing stripes" theory also fits there, since it would mean a highly advanced worlds would possibly like modern day US use their stripes as reference to their uniform etc. In a conversation Amalia uses the word " when i'm from we dont do stuff like." im assuming the word WHEN, eludes to possible time travel or different dimensions ?Īlso in the translation of Mary song, there is used the phrase " wearing stripes ", which you commonly hear about soldiers from the US etc, wearing their stripes and so on, which might refer to that Amalia is a US soldier from the future, and might have returned because of the whole ship ordeal is recorded happening at this time in hostry and i significant in some way ? And she though maybe her fellow soldiers left her behind, but they are actually injured and in hiding. ![]() I like neat stuff like this, but I want to understand what's at stake for Amalia. But what's Amalia's story? Is she a being from the future looking for a family she can trust? Was she already a lonely outsider among the other sparkles before their ship crashed? Is she someone who needs to come to peace with where she is? I think that's what's going on with the plot. ![]() Maladie is like a pair of conjoined twins, and her human mind can hear the voice of her sparkle passenger.Īnd everyone else isn't even aware that they have sparkle passengers. So, Amalia is like a mobile meat suit being controlled by her sparkle passenger. And sometimes her sparkle passenger talks through Maladie. So, the sparkle can talk to her, unlike the others, Maladie must be able to 'hear' her sparkle passenger. Maybe even had a form of disassociative identity disorder. She may have heard voices before she was touched. So, I guess that means Maladie is different. Which implies the real Amalia True could still be in there somewhere. So, the sparkle was able to take control of Amalia's body. Like, her brain had died, or she had gone into a coma. So I guess, when we saw Amalia True in the water in the first episode, she had just died when she was touched. The sparkles aren't consciously controlling anyone, so most of the touched don't know they're there. Not alien as in extraterrestrial, alien as in foreign to the bodies they inhabit. So, I guess the sparkles that touched people are alien consciousness. To spoiler tag your comment, use this format:
